The Mdm10 complementing protein, Mcp1 of 302 aas, a member of the DUF1691 Superfamily (Tan et al. 2013).  A second compementing protein, Mcp2 (Q06567) is not related to Mcp1 and lacks TMSs, but when overexpressed, it gives the same supressive phenotype.  All homologues of Mcp1 seem to derive from fungi.
