The fungicidal mechanism of glabridin, an isoflavane, a type of isoflavonoid, against Fusarium graminearum, showed that it acts on ergosterol synthesis-related proteins to destroy the integrity of the cell membrane, resulting in abnormal transmembrane transport and an increased membrane potential (Yang et al. 2021).
