1.D.109. The Lipid-Peptide Toroidal Pore (LPTP) Family
Semitoroidal pores form relatively easily in phosphatidyl inositol-containg membranes in which POPI molecules with a strong negative charge interact with peptide aggregates; a single peptide is unable to stabilize the semitoroidal pore (Ermakova et al. 2018).
