8.A.216.1.7
Gos1 of 223 aas with 1 C-terminal TMS.  It is a Golgi SNAP receptor, complex member 1, and an anchor for type IV membrane proteins.  It is a membrane phosphoprotein involved in ER to Golgi transport as part of the Golgi apparatus and plays a role in protein transport within the golgi. It interacts with SED5, YKT6 AND SFT1 (Dederer and Lemberg 2021). Ric1p and the Ypt6p GTPase function in a common pathway required for localization of trans-Golgi network membrane proteins (Gillingham et al. 2002; Siniossoglou and Pelham 2001).
