of endocytic vesicles at the plasma membrane level. It has been implicated
in cytoskeletal reorganization in response to environmental stresses and
could act in the budding site selection mechanism (Friesen et al. 2005). It may play a role in the uptake and trafficking of Coenzyme Q (Guile et al. 2023).
