ADAM11 is essential for proper localization of Kv1.1 and Kv1.2 K+ channel subunit complexes to the distal tubule plasma membrane. It is the first Kv1 interacting protein to be discovered (Kole et al. 2015). It has four domains recognized by CDD: Pep-M12B - Proopep - ZnMc/Reprolysin - Disintegrin.
