regulation of numerous cellular processes, such as cell differentiation,
cell division, cell proliferation, cell migration, thrombosis,
angiogenesis, cardiac hypertrophy and apoptosis (Armacki et al. 2014). It forms a heterotrimeric complex with TMC6 (TC# 1.A.17.4.10) and TMC8 (TC# 1.A.17.4.11), stabilizing the complex (Wu et al. 2020).
