2.B.77.  The Rigid-Axle-based Molecular Rotaxane Channel (RA-RC) Family 

Inspired by the design criteria of heteroditopic receptors for ion-pair binding, Pang et al. 2023 described a new strategy to construct a rotaxane transporter for K+/Cl- co-transport. The use of a rigid axle improves the transport activity with an EC50 value of 0.58 μM, presenting a significant step toward developing rotaxane artificial channels.
