3.A.1.24.6 Putative peptide transporter, PepABC. The three components of this system are encoded in an operon with a gene encoding a peptidase (Q04MS7), providing the only tentative evidence for the substrate transported. However the similarity with the methionine transporter of Streptococcus mutans (TC# 3.A.1.24.3) suggests that this porter may also be a methionine uptake porter.
