9.B.336.  The Lokiarchaeum-specific 4 TMS Membrane Protein (L4MP) Family 

L4MP family members are usually of about 140 - 160 aas in length and have 4 TMSs (or sometimes 5 with an extra moderately hydrophobic N-terminal TMS).  They are found mostly in Lokiarchaeota, Helarchaeota and Bathyarchaeota. These proteins may have these 4 TMSs in a 1 + 3 TMS arrangement, or this unit can be duplicated with a 1 + 3 + 1 + 3 TMS arrangement (see 9.B.336.1.5).
