Apolipoprotein E2 inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis in pancreatic cancer cells through ERK1/2/CREB/BCL-2 signaling (Wang et al. 2022). It may stabilize HDL (high density lipoprotein) structure by its association with lipids, and affect HDL metabolism.
