Multipore Transmembrane Ion Channel

Several publications, mostly by the same group, have dealt with the use of Multipore Transmembrane Ion Channels to form different artificial ion channel families. They are all based on the same general principle, and therefore are considered to be in a single superfamily (MTM-IC).
