1.B.62 The Putative Bacterial Porin (PBP) Family

The PBP family was retrieved when proteins of the δ-Porin family (1.B.61) were searched with BLAST. These proteins show extensive sequence similarity to members of the cyanobacterial porin (CP) Family as members of the OMPP Superfamily I (Reddy and Saier 2016).



This family belongs to the Outer Membrane Pore-forming Protein I (OMPP-I) Superfamily .
