2.A.128. The Multidrug Resistance Exporter VanZ (VanZ) Family
The antibiotic resistance gene vanZ has been identified, and expression of vanZ conferred resistance to teicoplanin and dalbavancin in Streptococcus agalactiae (Lai et al. 2017). The bacterial proton motive force (PMF) represents a target, providing a comprehensive approach to controlling antimicrobial resistance (Yang et al. 2023).
