9.B.167 The DUF2860 Putative Beta Barrel Porin (DUF2860) Family

The DUF2860 family consists of putative beta barrel proteins, usually with 300 - 350 aas, an N-terminal signal sequence and predicted 14 β-TMSs, although some family members may have differeing numbers of TMSs.  These proteins are found predominantly in proteobacteria.
