3.A.1.103.10 Wzm (M; 280 aas; 6 or 7 TMSs in a 2 + 3 + 1 or 2 TMS arrangement)-Wzt (C) ABC lipid-linked galactan precursor exporter. Deletion of the encoding genes results in severe morphological changes and the accumulation of an aberrantly long galactan precursor. A model for coupled synthesis and export of the galactanpolymer precursor in mycobacteria has been proposed (Savková et al. 2021). The two encoding genes are separated by a gene that encodes a galactofuranosyltransferase, GlfT1.
