Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 3 (Brain-specific eag-like channel 1, BEC1) (Ether-a-go-go-like potassium channel 2) (ELK channel 2, ELK2) (Voltage-gated potassium channel subunit, Kv12.2). Deletion causes hippocampal hyperexcitability and epilepsy (Zhang et al. 2010). A selective inhibitor is ASP2905 (Takahashi et al. 2017). Voltage-sensor movements in the Eag Kv channel under an applied electric field have been measured (Mandala and MacKinnon 2022).
