1.A.143.  The A15.5L Viroporin (A15.5L-VP) Family 

This family has been examined, first, showing that its characterized member is a  small transmembrane protein of 53 aas and 2 TMS (residues 7 - 24 and 30 - 50). Second, it has been shown to have ion channel activity (Basu et al. 2023). Third, its 3-D transmembrane structure has been predicted using alpha-fold.
