9.A.32.2.1 SdpC (YfhL) protein of 110 aas and 3 TMSs in a 1 + 2 TMS arrangement. It provides intrinsic resistance to antimicrobial compounds produced by other Bacilli (Butcher and Helmann 2006). It is a second B. subtilis protein (the first being SdpI) that provides immunity against the toxicity of antimicrobial compounds.
