9.B.405.  The 7 TMS Uncharacterized Ubiquitous Protein-1 (UUP1) Family 

The proteins of this family are of about 240 aas and have 7 TMSs.  They occur in archaea, bacteria and eukaryotes. Members of the family have been annotated in the NCBI protein database as phytol kinases and phosphatidate cytidylyltransferases.
