Cytomegalovirus M78 receptor of 473 aas and 7 TMSs.  It's trafficing has been studied (Sharp et al. 2009).  This protein is a member of the β-herpesvirus 'UL78 family' of seven transmembrane receptors which are required for efficient cell-cell spread of the virus in tissue culture, and M78 knockout viruses are attenuated for replication in vivo. M78 forms dimers, a property common to several cellular 7TMR.
